Hamza Suhuyini, a member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) communication team, has expressed strong hope in President John Dramani Mahama's ability to restore Ghana's fortunes, stating that the country will regain its pride of place under Mahama's leadership.

In a firm defence of the current administration's direction, Suhuyini asserted that the President is focused on resolving inherited challenges and delivering results that will restore hope and dignity to the Ghanaian people. "Our job is to fix a problem, and we have a four-year mandate with the good people of this country, and I can look them in the eyes and say that His Excellency President John Dramani Mahama will resolve most of the challenges that we inherited in record time," he said.

Speaking on Channel One TV's breakfast Daily on Wednesday, May 7, he assured that, "by the end of his tenure as President, this country will once again be brought back to its pride of place so that we can begin to have discussions that would further expose the incompetence that we were cursed with under the leadership of Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo." Suhuyini's remarks reflect the NDC's ongoing efforts to underscore a stark contrast between Mahama's administration and the previous government, which they blame for widespread economic hardship and mismanagement.

The comments also come as President Mahama continues to implement governance reforms aimed at promoting transparency and public trust.
