General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Fifi Kwetey, has sharply criticised the New Patriotic Party (NPP) over its handling of the power sector and accused the party of hypocrisy in its recent commentary on the country's energy challenges.

Kwetey said the NPP government left behind a severely indebted power sector despite inheriting measures such as the Energy Sector Levy Act (ESLA) introduced under the previous NDC administration. "We handed them ESLA.
