The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the (NPP), Bernard Antwi Boasiako, popularly known as Chairman Wontumi, has called for a ceasefire between and the Bono Regional Chairman of the NPP, Kwame Baffoe, popularly known as Abronye DC, following their recent altercation.
According to Wontumi, the internal dispute does not reflect well on the NPP, and as a result, he is advocating for mediation between the two parties.
