A group of concerned members of the (NDC) in the La Dade Kotopon Constituency has formally appealed to President and the appointing authorities to renominate Alfredos Nii Anyetei as Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for the La Dade Kotopon Municipal Assembly.
Their appeal comes after Anyetei failed to secure the required votes for confirmation during a crucial assembly election held on May 5, 2025.
Out of 14 votes cast, he garnered only 5, falling short of the number needed for endorsement.
Despite the outcome, the group maintains that Anyetei remains the most competent and visionary leader to steer the affairs of the municipality.
