General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Fifi Fiavi Kwetey, has launched a scathing critique of the previous New Patriotic Party (NPP) administration, describing its performance as the worst in Ghana's democratic history.

Kwetey's comments come in the wake of the NDC's decisive victory in the 2024 general elections, which he said reflected a call by Ghanaians for a reset in both governance and moral standards.

Speaking on Channel One TV's Face to Face with Umaru Sanda Amadu, Mr.

Kwetey said the NPP's style of governance resulted in the collapse of both economic and moral institutions in the country. "NDC was the instrument that provided a certain hope for the people of Ghana.
