The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has announced a two-day schedule of planned maintenance works across multiple regions, which will lead to temporary power outages on Tuesday, May 6, and Wednesday, May 7, 2025.
The company says the exercise is aimed at enhancing the quality and reliability of electricity supply, and has advised residents and businesses in the affected areas to plan accordingly.
On Tuesday, May 6, the maintenance will affect parts of the Ashanti, Greater Accra, and Tema regions.
In the Ashanti Region, power will be interrupted from 9:00 a.m.
