The Ghana Police Service has invited the Minority Leader in Parliament, Hon.

Alexander Afenyo-Markin, to assist in investigations following a widely circulated video that allegedly shows him assaulting a police officer during the recent "Save the Judiciary" demonstration in Accra.

In a statement issued by the Service, police officials said multiple video footages from the protest had been reviewed, leading to the decision to request Hon.

Afenyo-Markin's cooperation.
