The Ministry of Health has launched a Digital Admissions Portal to streamline the application process for prospective students seeking admission into health training institutions across Ghana.
The portal, which was unveiled by health minister on May 5, 2025, is designed to improve accessibility, transparency, and convenience in admissions.
Speaking about the portal, the minister highlighted its user-friendly nature, stating, "The portal allows applicants to complete the entire process-voucher purchase, application submission, and tracking-from the comfort of their homes, using their mobile phones or computers." He explained that the previous application process posed challenges for applicants, especially those in remote areas, as families often had to incur significant travel costs and face various risks to secure admission.
To further improve the process, the Ministry has also established a 24-hour call center to assist applicants throughout their journey.
