The government is in the process of drafting a bill to rename the C.K.

Tedam University of Technology and Applied Sciences (CKT-UTAS) along with other public universities across the country, according to the Minister for Education, Haruna Iddrisu.

Speaking at the swearing-in of the newly constituted Governing Council of CKT-UTAS in Accra, Mr.

Iddrisu explained that the decision follows broad consultations with key stakeholders including academia, traditional authorities, alumni, student groups, and civil society actors. "Extensive consultations have been held with members of the academic community, traditional leaders, alumni bodies, student representatives, and civil society organisations.
