The Medical Director at Agarwal Eye Hospital in Accra, Dr Asiwome Kwesi, has disclosed that Suzzy Pinaman, a second-year student of Adventist Senior High School in Bantama, Ashanti Region, who was allegedly shot in the eye by a classmate, is likely to require multiple surgeries.
Addressing the press on Monday, May 5, 2025, he stated that the teenager's condition remains critical following the gunshot injury. "It's likely to involve multiple surgeries.
The outcome is still very guarded.
What that means is the result is uncertain because we are not able to see the back of the eye.
