The Ghana Health Service (GHS) has announced a significant reshuffle affecting several senior personnel, including Programme Managers and Deputy Directors across the country.

The reassignments, which take effect from May 19, 2025, were outlined in an official notice signed by the Acting Director-General of the GHS, Professor Samuel Kaba Akoriyea.

The GHS said the changes are intended to improve efficiency and ensure a responsive and well-coordinated health system nationwide. "This reassignment is part of a broader national strategy to strengthen the health system.

You are therefore requested to supervise the proper handing over and release the Managers and Deputy Directors concerned to their new stations by the given date and communicate dates of assumption of duty to this Office," he stated.
