Pro- (NDC) broadcaster Mugabe Maase has launched a stinging criticism of the Mahama administration, accusing it of sidelining loyal media allies, including those associated with businessman Alhaji Seidu Agongo.
In an impassioned broadcast, Maase expressed frustration that staff from media outlets such as Accra FM and Class FM, owned by Seidu Agongo, have been overlooked for government appointments despite their staunch support for the NDC during its years in opposition. "You've given appointments to over 15 journalists, and Bobie Ansah has been sidelined," Maase said, referring to the outspoken host of The Citizen Show on Accra FM. "You've forgotten Radio Gold, Accra FM, Ahotor FM, and Class FM," he added.
Maase, a known NDC sympathizer, painted a picture of betrayal and neglect, alleging that figures who endured difficult conditions to campaign for the party have now been left behind in favor of journalists from mainstream media organizations such as Joy FM, Adom FM, and TV3.
