President John Dramani Mahama has nominated Dr.
Paa Kwesi Baidoo as the new Chief Executive Officer of the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) in Kumasi, replacing the outgoing CEO, Professor Otchere Addai-Mensah.
The appointment was confirmed in an official statement issued on April 30, 2025, and signed by Callistus Mahama, Secretary to the President.
The statement directed that the nomination be regularised in accordance with the Ghana Health Service and Teaching Hospitals Act, 1996 (Act 525), as amended.
