Speaking on Peace FM's morning show, Kokrokoo, he humorously remarked, "These ones are not for you to anoint," suggesting that the religious ritual of praying over passports may be unnecessary or inappropriate given the sophisticated technology and security features now embedded in the documents. "Those pastors who want to anoint everything, you have been advised not to anoint this one," he stated.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs officially began issuing the chip-embedded passports this week.
