The New Patriotic Party's candidate for the 2020 parliamentary elections in Navrongo Central, Tangoba Abayage, has opened up about her sextape extortion during the 2020 campaign.
In a Facebook post, the vociferous politician who led the Upper East Region as its regional minister indicated that in the heat of the campaign, she received a call from one of her financiers.
The caller, who rarely contacted her but was a trusted ally, informed her that one Emelda Kumbono was contacting her sponsors to inform them of having her sextape in her possession.
The lady, according to Tangoba, was charging Ghc 50,000 to keep the tape and prevent it from leaking on social media, as it could affect her chances of winning the polls.
