Member of Parliament for Gomoa Central, Kwame Asare Obeng popularly known as A Plus has denied claims of being involved in the National Service scandal.
According to him, he has not received payments to suppress or influence the issue.
He explained that he was approached by a man who said he had been falsely accused and used his influence in the media space to get him heard by the authorities.
To him, the media engagements for the accused cannot be deemed as suppressing or influencing the issue. "The only time I came into contact with the issue was in November 2024, when a gentleman approached me claiming he was being falsely accused.
