A new welfare-focused initiative has been introduced to enhance protection and support for staff working in community pharmacies across Ghana.
Referred to as the Pharma Care Group Life solution, the initiative is a collaborative effort between the Pharmaceutical Society of Ghana (PSGH) and the Community Practice Pharmacists' Association (CPPA).
It was officially launched in Accra on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, by Dr Daniel Larbi-Tieku, Group CEO of Enterprise Group.
The package includes coverage for critical illness, accidental injury, and death, with premiums designed to reflect the financial realities of community pharmacy operations.
