While former National Signals Bureau boss Kwabena Adu-Boahen has been remanded into EOCO custody for seven days, the Accra High Court on Friday granted bail to two other accused persons in the high-profile financial crimes case.
Angela Adjei-Boateng, Adu-Boahen's wife, and Mildred Donkor, a former bank relations officer for the couple, were both released on bail following separate applications filed by their legal representatives.
The two are co-accused in an 11-count charge that includes stealing, money laundering, and abuse of public office - all connected to a controversial cybersecurity contract with an Israeli firm.
