The management of Zoomlion Ghana Limited has provided clarification regarding the remuneration of beneficiaries and workers delivering sanitation services under the company's program across the country.
In a press statement dated April 30, 2025, Zoomlion Ghana Limited provided details indicating that, under its contractual agreement with the Youth Employment Agency (YEA), each beneficiary is entitled to a stipend of GH¢850.
Of this amount, GH¢258 is paid directly to the beneficiaries as an allowance, while the remaining GH¢592 is allocated to Zoomlion as a management fee.
According to the company, this fee covers the cost of uniforms and other essential equipment required for the beneficiaries to carry out their sanitation duties. "The contract provides for a total sum of GH¢850 per beneficiary, of which GH¢ 258 is allocated to the Beneficiary as an allowance, while the remaining GH¢592 constitutes a management Fee to Zoomlion.
