The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has announced that its National Chairman has temporarily stepped away from the ongoing nationwide "Thank You" tour to attend to pressing matters.
In a statement signed by the Party's Director of Communications, Richard Ahiagbah, the NPP assured members and supporters that the Chairman remains fully committed to the tour and will rejoin the team shortly. "The National Chairman has taken a short break from the ongoing nationwide 'Thank You' tour to attend to some pressing matters," the statement said. "The National Chairman remains fully committed to the tour and will rejoin the team in due course." The Party expressed gratitude to its members and the public for their continued support and cooperation during the tour, which is aimed at acknowledging the efforts of the grassroots and galvanizing support ahead of the 2024 general elections. "The Party appreciates all members' continued support, enthusiasm, unwavering commitment, and cooperation," the statement concluded.
The "Thank You" tour has seen party executives engaging supporters across the country, following the conclusion of internal primaries and key campaign events.
