The Ghana Gold Board has announced a final extension for gold dealers to reapply for licences under its new regulatory framework.

This applies specifically to those who previously held permits issued by the Precious Minerals Marketing Company (PMMC) or the Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources.

The deadline has now been moved to May 21, 2025, allowing a three-week grace period for those yet to submit their applications.
