A former (NPP) flagbearer hopeful, , has officially withdrawn from the ongoing 'Thank You Tour' of the party.
His withdrawal from the tour comes after one of his supporters was stabbed during an altercation.
Speaking in an interview on UTV on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, Ken Agyapong said that his decision to withdraw from the tour is for the sake of unity.
He added that he was also withdrawing because he feels that he cannot protect his supporters. "NPP lost the last election… I decided to join Dr Bawumia when he invited the other contestants for the tour for the sake of unity.
