Former Assin Central Member of Parliament Kennedy Agyapong has announced his withdrawal from the NPP's Thank You Tour.
He says he cannot protect his followers on the tour, and therefore, he must pull out.
His decision to pull out of the tour comes after a student was stabbed by one of Ali Suraj's security men. "If they treat students like this, then what will happen to my boys?
I have decided to withdraw from the Thank You tour to afford Dr Bawumia the opportunity to tour alone as the former flagbearer of the party," he said.
