The Minister of Education, , has launched the 'No Fees Stress Policy Portal', a digital gateway designed to facilitate seamless access to tertiary education funding for Ghanaian students to eliminate financial barriers to higher education.
The launch formed part of the inauguration ceremony for the newly constituted Board of Trustees of the Students Loan Trust Fund (SLTF), the agency responsible for implementing the policy.
In his remarks, the minister urged the Board to apply their expertise and exceptional credentials to effectively steer the affairs of the Fund.
According to Iddrisu, the No Fees Stress Policy seeks to remove admission, registration, academic user, and facility fees for first-year students in both public and private tertiary institutions.
