The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has reinstated its Nandom Constituency Secretary, Martin Wuoyang, following a unanimous decision by the party's Upper West Regional Executive Committee.
The resolution was reached during a regional meeting held on April 27, 2025, after Wuoyang issued a written apology and demonstrated willingness to continue serving the party.
His suspension had stemmed from a petition lodged with the party's Disciplinary Committee, which led to sanctions against him.
However, the committee cited Wuoyang's respectful engagement with party processes and renewed commitment as key reasons for his reinstatement. "The Committee arrived at this decision following the show of respect accorded to the Disciplinary Committee and the fact that you showed enough interest in working for the party," a statement from the Regional NPP read.
