The Minister of Health, , following reports of the patient's death, made an unannounced visit to the hospital on April 22, 2025, as part of a broader effort to assess the challenges of healthcare delivery in the Northern Region.
The visit to TTH, however, turned confrontational, making headlines across major news portals in the country.
