The (NPP) is set to launch a transformative initiative, the Patriotic Institute, in May 2025, as part of efforts to deepen ideological education, build capacity among its members, and enhance its contribution to national development.

This was revealed by the General Secretary of the NPP, Justin Kodua Frimpong, during his recent nationwide tour to engage party stakeholders and grassroots supporters.

According to Mr Kodua, the establishment of the Patriotic Institute marks a major step towards institutionalising political education within the party and empowering members with knowledge, leadership skills, and a renewed sense of patriotism. "The Patriotic Institute will be the intellectual and ideological engine of the NPP," Mr Kodua said. "It will focus on leadership training, research, and the promotion of the party's foundational principles - freedom, democracy, development, and service to Ghana." He emphasised that the Institute will not only serve the needs of the party but will also be open to nurturing young leaders, public servants, and citizens committed to democratic values and national progress. "This is about grooming a generation that understands governance, patriotism, and the spirit of service to country," Kodua added.

The NPP's Patriotic Institute is expected to offer a range of activities, including seminars, public lectures, political education courses, research publications, and policy analysis.
