The National Organiser of the (NPP), Henry Nana Boakye (Nana B), has alleged that the Chairperson of the of Ghana (EC), , will be the next target for removal after the current government successfully ousts Chief Justice Gertrude Torkornoo.
According to him, intelligence they have gathered indicates that petitions for the removal of and her deputies have already been prepared.
Nana B claimed that the petition for the removal of the EC commissioners will be submitted immediately after the Chief Justice, who is currently facing three petitions, is removed. "We have intel that they have already written a petition for the removal of the electoral commissioner(s).
What they are waiting for is to finish with the Chief Justice.
