The Council of State Member representing the Volta Region, Gabriel Tanko Kwamigah-Atokple, has met with Sir Sam Jonah as they both joined others in conversations on tourism, investments, and collaboration.

The two leaders met at a diplomatic gathering at the Embassy of Greece over the weekend.

Making this known in a post he shared on his Facebook page, Kwamigah-Atokple stated that this was after he ha joined other dignitaries at the commemoration of the 65th independence day celebrations of Togo in Accra.

The event, which took place at the Togo High Commission at Cantonments, in Accra, according to him, "intertwined histories and futures, it was a strong reminder that building economic, political, social, and cultural ties remains essential, especially for those of us sharing direct boundaries with Togo." He also added that in his meeting with Sir Sam Jonah later, they discussed issues surrounding Greece-Ghana partnerships and the future of investments in the Volta Region.
