Boakye Agyarko, a prominent figure in the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has expressed concerns over the direction of the party's ongoing Thank You Tour, which was initially intended to reignite hope and strengthen ties with supporters.
According to him, the tour, instead of fostering unity, is descending into internal discord, blame-shifting, and growing strife.
Agyarko, in a public statement, described the current state of the tour as a "regrettable turn of events" that threatens to harm the very foundation of the NPP.
He emphasized that the tour's failure to unite the grassroots and rejuvenate the party's spirit is causing considerable damage, not only within the ranks but also to the trust and goodwill the party has worked hard to cultivate with the Ghanaian people.
