Former General Secretary of the People's National Convention (PNC), Atik Mohammed, has questioned the competence of the leadership of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

He is of the view that if anyone in the current leadership is maintained ahead of the 2028 elections, the party will come back to where it is to count its losses.

His comment comes on the back of the political party's inability to pay its workers barely four months after leaving office as a government.

To Atik Mohammed, many of the leaders of the political party lack the charisma, drive, and sincerity to lead the party.
