Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for the 2024 election, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, has blamed the party's defeat on arrogance of power and the hardship the people of Ghana suffered.
Speaking on the thank you tour on April 27, 2025, the former flagbearer noted that the government wasn't a listening government and the people of Ghana paid them for not listening to their plight.
