The Strong Woman Changemaker Africa (SWOCA) and its Ghana chapter, CSWA Ghana, have launched a national digital campaign aimed at amplifying the voices of women and girls across the country.
The campaign seeks to promote equity, empowerment, and inclusion by highlighting untold stories and connecting changemakers across regions.
Speaking on the initiative, Lamisi Adene, President of SWOCA and CSWA Ghana, emphasised that the campaign is part of a broader Pan-African movement dedicated to reshaping narratives and building sustainable impact led by women at both the grassroots and policy levels. "In Ghana, our focus is on leveraging digital tools to promote transformative leadership, increase visibility for local initiatives, foster collaboration, and advocate for policies that prioritize women's rights, education, health, and economic inclusion," she said.
Additionally, the campaign addresses the persistent digital divide that unfairly affects women, particularly in rural and underserved areas, where many remain digitally excluded and unable to access essential information, platforms, and resources necessary for advocacy and sustainable livelihoods which not only limits women's voices but also silences the powerful stories and solutions they bring to the table.
