President John Dramani Mahama has officially sworn in the nation's newly appointed military commanders as members of the Armed Forces Council.

The ceremony, which took place at the Ministry of Defence, wasn't just about protocol-it was a moment of recommitment to national security and a show of confidence in the next generation of military leadership.

Leading the new team is Major General William Agyapong, now serving as the Chief of Defence Staff.

Joining him are Major General Lawrence Kwaku Gbetanu (Chief of Army Staff), Rear Admiral Godwin Livinus Bessing (Chief of Naval Staff), and Air Vice Marshal Eric Agyen-Frempong (Chief of Air Staff).
