The former Director of the Ghana School of Law, Kwaku Ansa-Asare, has expressed the view that Chief Justice Gertrude Araba Sackey Torkornoo is likely to be removed from office following her suspension.
Sharing his thoughts on the ongoing developments during an interview on Woezor TV on Friday, April 25, 2025, Ansa-Asare stated that, based on his observations and close monitoring of the situation, the committee set up to investigate the petitions seeking Justice Torkornoo's removal will likely implicate her.
In his opinion, she will not come out unscathed. "Without mincing words, I think the CJ will not come out well at all, having regard to what is going on.
The writing is on the wall.
