Acting Chief Justice Paul Baffoe-Bonnie has issued a directive requiring that all newly filed cases and applications in the country's superior courts be submitted to his office.
This initiative aims to streamline court processes and enhance efficiency.
Effective April 23, 2025, and communicated through the Deputy Judicial Secretary, the directive applies to registrars of the Supreme Court, High Courts, and Courts of Appeal.
The Chief Justice has mandated that all new cases, applications, and requests for hearing dates be submitted to a centralised unit for assignment and scheduling.
