The Ghana Meteorological Agency (GMet) has issued a weather update predicting generally hot conditions across the country, with temperatures expected to soar as high as 41°C in the northern sector.

According to GMet, early morning mist is expected over the coastal and forest zones, but this will give way to partly cloudy conditions across most parts of the country.

By midday, more sunshine is expected, contributing to a hot afternoon nationwide.

Temperature forecasts for the day indicate minimums ranging between 23°C and 26°C, while maximum temperatures will vary from 34°C along the coast to a scorching 41°C in the northern regions.
