In a decisive move against drug trafficking, the Narcotics Control Commission (NACOC) has intercepted a significant quantity of suspected cocaine at the Swiss Port in Tema.

The operation, carried out on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, halted a cargo shipment destined for the Netherlands.

Upon inspection, authorities uncovered 73 slabs of a concealed substance believed to be cocaine, with a total weight of 89.74 kilograms.

The drugs had been meticulously hidden within the cargo, clearly intended to evade detection during the export process.
