Political scientist and lecturer, Dr Richard Amoako Baah, has jabbed the New Patriotic Party (NPP) over the nationwide "Thank You Tour" which was launched at the NPP headquarters on April 23, 2025.
In an interview with JoyNews on April 23, 2025, he questioned the relevance of the event, given the magnitude of the party's defeat in the 2024 Election.
In his estimation, the party performed poorly both in presidential and parliamentary elections and should be diagnosing the root cause of the party's performance instead of embarking on a "Thank You Tour". "What is going on is not good.
