The General Overseer of the Charismatic Evangelistic Ministry, Reverend Steve Mensah, has invoked the wrath of God upon those responsible for the pollution and destruction of water bodies and forest reserves through illegal mining activities, commonly referred to as galamsey.

While delivering a sermon to his congregants during Easter Sunday church service in a video shared by nkonkonsa on Instagram, the man of God addressed the devastating impact of galamsey activities on numerous water bodies that once served as vital sources of clean water for various communities.

He called on God to 'wipe out' those who, out of greed, permit these illegal mining operations to persist.

He strongly condemned the actions, criticising individuals who politicise such a serious issue and emphasising the gravity of the situation.
