List of journalists grabbing government of Ghana jobs has increased since the John Mahama Administration came into power with letters issued out.

The latest to join the ranks include Lantam Papanko, a journalist with GhOne TV who has officially assumed a role as Corporate Affairs Manager of the Ghana Publishing Company.  Another journalist who has also secured a government job is Paa Kwasi Asare of Media General brand TV3.  The BBC Komla Dumor Award Winner has quietly joined the Bank of Ghana's Communications Department since the NDC assumed power.  Other journalists with government jobs include Raymond Acquah, who was appointed by Finance Minister, Cassiel Ato Forson as a technical advisor on media and communication.

Acquah's mate at Joy News, Emefa Apawu has also joined the Petroleum Hub Development Corporation (PHDC) as its new Corporate Affairs Manager.  Reports confirmed by MyNewsGh.com showed  more journalists names withheld are reportedly working on receiving their appointment letters at the GNPC Foundation, GNPC, NPRA, BOST, NPA, among other places.  In the erstwhile Akufo-Addo administration, several journalists secured lucrative jobs and board appointments and faced backlash.
