The Member of Parliament for the Asene Akroso Manso Constituency in the Eastern Region, George Kwame Aboagye, affectionately known as "Oluwa," has issued a passionate call to the youth of his constituency and beyond to steer clear of hard drugs and focus on building meaningful careers.

Speaking at the 9th edition of the annual "Oluwa Easter Gala" football games held at Akyem Asanteman, the MP cautioned against the growing abuse of a dangerous substance popularly known as "Red," warning that its use is contributing to the decline of many promising young lives. "Drugs like 'Red' and others do nothing but destroy your body and mind," Mr.

Aboagye stated. "I urge every young person here to say no to drugs and instead focus on building a future they can be proud of.

You have the potential to be the next generation of leaders in Ghana." He encouraged the youth to emulate positive role models and channel their energy into productive ventures, including sports, education, and entrepreneurship.
