A former Deputy General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), , has reacted to the recent meeting between President and former President at Kwahu.
In a social media post on April 21, 2025, he recalled being labelled a traitor for associating with the then-President Akufo-Addo in efforts to rehabilitate the Asomdwee Park, the final resting place of the late President Professor John Fiifi Atta Mills, who served on the ticket of the NDC.
He questioned the double standards in his post and wrote, "So, is President John Mahama a traitor for visiting President Akufo-Addo?
Certainly not!
