The PURC has commiserated with the family of late Professor Thomas Akabzaa who passed away shortly after being sworn in as chairman of the commission's Board.
The delegation was led by Nana Yaa Akyempim Jantuah, a former Director of External Affairs at the PURC (Public Utilities Regulatory Commission), and included five other members of the commission.
The commissioners expressed their deep shock and sorrow at what they said is an untimely demise of Prof.
Akabzaa and described it as a great loss not only to the commission but to the entire nation.
