The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has denied that several cable failures are to blame for the Ashanti region's power disruptions.
Problems at the Ridge Bulk Supply Point in Kumasi, close to the Georgia Hotel, were blamed by the power distributor for the malfunctions.
The ECG reassured the impacted clients that its engineers are making every effort to fix the issue and bring power back to the impacted areas.
