The President's nominee for the District Chief Executive position for Ellembelle in the Western region, Joseph Agyekum, has been endorsed by the 52 assembly members in the area.
In an election conducted and supervised by the officials of Ellembelle District Electoral Commission on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, Joseph Agyekum secured all the votes cast, representing a unanimous 100 percent endorsement by the assembly members.
This is the first time a president's nominee has secured 100 percent in Ellembelle district since the inception of the district.
Joseph Agyekum is the current Constituency Secretary of the National Democratic Congress at Ellembelle.
