A comprehensive four-day tour of regional and teaching hospitals across the country will be undertaken by the Parliamentary Select Committee on Health from Tuesday, 22nd April to Friday, 25th April 2025.
The initiative has been launched to ensure that the current state of healthcare delivery is evaluated, key challenges are identified, and actionable strategies are formulated to improve services within Ghana's health sector.
The nationwide assessment will be carried out by Members of Parliament who have been divided into three teams.
Visits will be made by "team one" to Bolgatanga Regional Hospital, Nalerigu Regional Hospital, Tamale Teaching Hospital, Tamale Regional Hospital, and Wa Regional Hospital.
