Member of Parliament for Bantama, Francis Asenso-Boakye, has pledged his continued support for young Suzzy, also known as Penamang, who sustained severe eye injuries after a tragic shooting incident at her school.
In a statement issued on social media, the MP detailed the assistance he has provided since the incident, including ensuring that Suzzy receives free medical care at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH).
He said he intervened personally upon hearing of the situation, securing the support of the hospital's Chief Executive Officer, Prof.
Otchere Addai-Mensah, who agreed to oversee her treatment. "As part of my immediate support, I arranged with the hospital so that all medical bills would be fully covered, relieving the family of any financial burden," Asenso-Boakye said.
