Jerry Ahmed Shaib, the Member of Parliament for Weija-Gbawe, has broken his silence regarding rumours of his alleged death.
The New Patriotic Party (NPP) MP has dismissed claims of his demise following the circulation of his photographs on social media, accompanied by the inscription "Rest Well" and crying emojis.
Speaking in an interview on GHOne TV on April 16, 2025, he stated, "I think you have to ignore the rumors and know that, by God's grace, I am alive.
I do not know where the rumors are coming from, but somebody mentioned to me that it was because of an interview I granted." He further clarified, "Let me emphasize for the record that, in that interview, I never supported anyone who said that 'Rest Well' means you are resting.
