The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has cautioned its members against making speculative statements about the contents of the Oquaye Committee report, which probed the party's defeat in the 2024 general elections.
The caution comes after an emergency National Executive Committee meeting held on Wednesday, April 16, during which the committee, chaired by former Speaker of Parliament, Prof.
Mike Oquaye, formally presented its findings.
Speaking to the press after the meeting, NPP General Secretary Justin Kodua Frimpong urged party members to avoid jumping to conclusions or making baseless accusations. "We want to caution our members not to be in a haste to say things which are not even in the report, and for people to make several assumptions, accusations and counter-accusations in the media and on social media," he said.
